Our Precious Boys...

Each one of our boys is a miracle and special gift from God. We don’t take our responsibility as parents lightly and our prayer is that we, with God’s help, can rear our boys to be strong and honorable in word, deed, and values and they will be used in the greatest capacity as God sees fit.

Born 9/2/2002

Grant

Grant is the epitome of quiet strength. The ideal compassionate, watchful, patient older brother; Mom’s right-hand helper and Dad’s evangelism partner, travel companion, fishing bud and co-worker on the grounds. Saved at age five, he has a heart to serve God and feels that God wants to use him in missions someday in east Africa. His Heroes; Dad and missionary explorer David Livingstone. His favorite Ghanaian food: Fufu & Light soup.

Brett

Born 11/21/2005

Brett is our friendly, confident, adventurous child who loves details, organizing and delegating, definitely a “command” man, but also very sensitive to the hurts and feelings of others. Mom’s “little protector” and “sweetheart” saying, “I love you” frequently and giving hugs often. Also Dad’s evangelism partner and travel companion, and as he is never at a loss for words, helps keep dad awake on those long trips. Saved at age six, he is the family “prayer warrior”. He loves to go with dad to prayer meeting and can often be found in his room praying for someone he is burdened about. His favorite Ghanaian food: Chicken & rice, and plantains.

Jonathan

 Born 3/19/2010

Jon is our lovable, enthusiastic, dynamo of the family. Life is full of amazing and exciting things for the “big” little guy. “If brothers can do it, so can I!” is his motto. And he is not afraid to try. He is Mom’s helper at… well…., everything. He calls it “helping”; mom calls it “disaster”. However, one can’t help but smile at his chubby, cheeky grin. Dad’s wrestling pal and exercise partner….. He runs and runs and runs, and Dad chases, and chases and chases…. He laughs and laughs and laughs, and Dad pants and sweats and pants some more. He loves the song the B-I-B-L-E and prayer at meal times. His favorite food: “Peesa!” (Pizza)- He exclaims holding his arms up in the air.

David

Born 4/29/2012

When we first posted this page about David we said he was, "Passive and easy-rolling, even when being lovingly “harassed” by his over-zealous, over-cuddly two year old brother’s hugs and kisses."

Well, things have changed. His profile picture tells it all. David is a major show off. Whatever it takes to get everybody's attention away from his big brother Jon.

He loves to make Jon cry!

His favorite food: Fufu and groundnut soup!

Noah Born

6/14/2014
Don't know much about this precious little one yet, but he seems to be living up to his name. Noah means "rest". He has been one of the best babies so far in terms of allowing Mom to rest during the night. Praise the Lord!
